Create QR codes for website links, WhatsApp messages, phone, email, location, text, ID cards and event badges.
No registration and no watermark. Download a black-and-white or coloured QR code as a transparent PNG.
Scan the preview before printing. Transparent QR codes should be placed on a plain light background.
Customers commonly use QR codes to share a website, catalogue, PDF brochure, presentation, video, contact information, location or short text. A printed QR can connect an ID card, event badge, paper advertisement, product sheet or visiting card to useful digital information without printing a long URL.
For an ID card, a QR code may open an authorized staff or student verification page, company website or approved digital profile. Event badges can link to a schedule, registration record, exhibitor catalogue, sponsor presentation or product video. The destination should remain available for as long as the printed card or advertisement is in use.
The WhatsApp mode creates a link from a country-code number and an optional default message. The phone mode can create a tap-to-call number or combine an emergency-contact label with the number as readable QR text.
Encoding a contact number keeps it from being immediately visible as printed text, but a QR code is not encryption. Anyone with a compatible scanner can read or open its content. Obtain permission before encoding another person’s phone number and avoid passwords, financial data or confidential personal information.
This tool creates static QR codes. The encoded text or URL is fixed inside the downloaded image and cannot be edited later. If you expect the final destination to change, encode a short page or redirect URL on a domain you control, then update that page or redirect separately. Test long-term links before placing them on a large print order.
A 150–200 pixel source may be enough for some simple ID card QR codes, while a 250–300 pixel image provides more room for a larger event badge. The generator offers 150, 200, 300, 500 and 1000 pixel PNG files. Pixel dimensions alone do not guarantee scanning: encoded data length, physical print size, contrast, printer quality, viewing distance and the phone camera all matter.
Keep an empty quiet zone around the QR code, do not crop its edges and avoid stretching it. Print one sample at the final physical size and test it with several phones before bulk printing. More data produces a denser pattern and may require a larger printed QR.
Black modules on a white background normally provide the strongest contrast. A dark brand colour can also work if it remains clearly darker than the background. Avoid light foreground colours, busy photographs, gradients and low-contrast combinations. A transparent PNG is useful for design work, but place it over a plain light area and preserve the quiet zone for reliable scanning.
The page tool generates the QR image in the browser. The finished QR itself is openly readable by scanners, so do not encode secrets or information that should remain private. IDCard99 does not support QR codes intended for phishing, malware, impersonation, fake credentials, unlawful tracking or unauthorized access. Users are responsible for the content and destination they encode.

Yes. You can download a PNG with a transparent background. Place it on a plain, light background, preserve the empty space around the QR code and test it before printing.
This tool creates static QR codes, so the encoded content cannot be edited after download. If the QR code contains a URL on a webpage or redirect that you control, you can update that destination separately without changing the encoded URL.
A QR code may be difficult to scan if it is printed too small, has low contrast, contains too much data, has cropped edges or lacks sufficient clear space. Test a sample at the final print size with different phones before printing ID cards or event badges in bulk.
Create QR codes, prepare images and connect approved digital information to ID cards, event badges and printed material.
