What You Can Edit in the PSD Templates

The layered Photoshop files allow you to change the background design, colour combination, logo, organization name, addresses, photographs and card fields. Employee and student details can be added, removed or repositioned according to the approved requirement. Use the font links in the included Read-Me-First file before editing to avoid missing-font warnings.

Employee ID Card Template

The employee template includes editable front and back designs. You can change the company name, logo, colours, instructions, signature and employee fields. Its large 300 × 300 pixel round photo area can also be converted to a rectangular frame when the company layout requires it.

Student and School ID Card Templates

The student and school templates allow you to replace the school name, logo, address, student photo and other details. The supplied design uses coordinated colours and a curved photo frame to keep the student image clear while maintaining a professional printed appearance at 300 DPI.

Visitor ID Card Template

The visitor template can be customized with company details, instructions and visitor information. For numbered batches, duplicate the approved design and update the visitor number for each card. Review all numbers before printing a larger quantity.

Horizontal, Vertical and Final Cut Size

The horizontal working canvas is 1051 × 685 pixels, while the vertical working canvas is 685 × 1051 pixels. Both layouts are prepared at 300 DPI. The working canvas allows room for safe-area guides and cutting adjustments; the final PVC ID card size is approximately 86 × 54 mm. Keep important text, photographs and logos within the designated safe area, and preserve the original canvas dimensions while editing.

Safe Area, Resolution and Proof Printing

The safe area keeps important text, photographs and logos away from the cutting edge. Correct alignment helps the printed card remain close to the approved design after normal cutting variation. Background artwork may extend to the edge, but critical data should remain inside the safe-area guides.

Keep the artwork at 300 DPI and do not stretch low-resolution photographs. Before bulk production, print one proof at the actual 86 × 54 mm size and check text readability, colours, photo clarity, alignment and cutting space.

How to Download, Edit and Print ID Card Templates

1. Choose the employee, student, school or visitor template.
2. Download the ZIP package; no extraction password is required.
3. Extract the ZIP using the built-in Windows tool or another trusted archive utility.
4. Read the Read-Me-First text file and install the referenced fonts.
5. Open the PSD file in a compatible version of Adobe Photoshop.
6. Replace the sample branding, photo and fields with authorized details.
7. Check one actual-size proof before exporting or printing the full batch.
