ID Card Printing Orders and Tools FAQ

Practical answers based on how IDCard99 and Dhruv Lamination handle enquiries, design proofs, personalised data, printing, accessories and delivery.

These answers explain our normal process, but material availability, quantity, artwork condition and delivery location can change an individual quotation or schedule. Please confirm important specifications before paying an advance or approving production.

We prepare authorised school, student, employee, visitor, event, membership and loyalty cards. Available options include normal PVC cards, chemical cards made with epoxy resin and hardener, paper cards, RFID and NFC cards, pouches, PVC or metal holders, retractable yo-yo holders and cotton or satin lanyards. Product suitability depends on the intended use, required life and budget.

Send the card type, estimated quantity, organisation name, delivery location, required date and contact person name and designation. Also mention one-side or double-side printing, required material, holder, plain or printed lanyard and whether you already have a design. Smart-card enquiries should include the reader model, frequency, chip type or an authorised working sample when available.

Requirements vary from a small school needing around 20 cards to multi-branch organisations requiring thousands. Existing customers can also request a single new card for a newly appointed employee or a lost student card when the approved design and suitable material remain available. Pricing depends on quantity and production setup, so the requirement should be confirmed before ordering.

CDR, PSD or a transparent PNG logo usually gives the best design result. We can also review JPG, JPEG, PDF or another usable image file when the original artwork is unavailable. A low-resolution image may not print as sharply as an original vector or high-resolution logo.

Yes. You may provide an approved design, ask us to prepare one, or send a sample for reference. For an initial design, share the organisation logo, name, address, contact number and any optional website, email or QR code. Also list the employee or student fields that must appear on the card.

An initial sample or design proof is normally prepared within one to two working days after usable details and artwork are received. This estimate is for the design stage only and is not the completion time for the full printing order. Revisions and delayed information can extend the approval stage.

Yes. Structured Excel or CSV data can be used for bulk personalisation. Column headings should remain consistent and photo filenames should match the related records. We can receive authorised data through WhatsApp, email or a shared Google Sheet link. The organisation should send only the fields needed for the approved card.

After the design is approved, populated proofs can be arranged in manageable groups such as class-wise or department-wise PDF files. The authorised contact checks names, photos, dates, phone numbers and identification fields and returns clearly marked corrections. Final production begins after the corrected records and proof are approved.

Check the organisation name and logo, cardholder name, photo, employee or student number, designation or class, birth and joining dates, phone and emergency numbers, blood group, address, QR or barcode result, card orientation and printed spelling. Approval should be given only after the responsible organisation has checked the complete proof.

We normally take a 50% advance before confirmed production begins. The remaining payment is due before delivery or dispatch. Any different arrangement must be discussed and agreed before production. Courier, porter and other delivery charges are additional unless specifically included in the quotation.

A typical order takes approximately 10 to 15 days after final proof approval, depending on quantity, card material, fitting, finishing and current workload. Some suitable orders can be completed in 3 to 5 days. Production time is confirmed only after the specification, approved data and schedule have been reviewed.

Urgent work is accepted only when the quantity, material and current workload make the requested deadline realistic. We do not promise every order for the same day. Some suitable jobs may be accepted for the following day or within two to three days after confirmation. If the deadline cannot be met responsibly, we decline it before accepting the order.

Cotton lanyards are commonly supplied from about 14 mm width and are suitable for economical single-colour screen printing, often in a dark colour. Satin lanyards are commonly available in 16 mm or 20 mm widths and support multicolour digital printing. Wider 24 mm or 25 mm satin lanyards may be suitable for event requirements. Availability should be confirmed for each order.

A completed printed card cannot be physically edited, so a corrected card must be printed again. Send the incorrect detail, the correct replacement text and a clear card photograph through WhatsApp or email. If customer-supplied or approved data was incorrect, the new card and delivery may be chargeable. If the error was our confirmed production mistake, we prepare the corrected card without charging again for that card.

Yes. Ahmedabad customers may collect an order, arrange local porter delivery or use a courier. Orders outside Ahmedabad can be dispatched across Gujarat and other parts of India where courier service is available. Delivery charges are additional and timing depends on the destination and courier service.

No. Frequency, chip type, protocol, memory and system configuration must match the existing reader and software. A card number alone does not confirm full compatibility. Test an authorised sample with the actual reader and system before placing a bulk order. We do not assist with card cloning or unauthorised access.

The public generators identified as free can be used without an IDCard99 watermark. Designs and editable fields depend on the selected generator. The user must check the photo, text, card size and downloaded JPG before printing and must use the result only for an authorised purpose.

Templates described as free downloads do not have an IDCard99 watermark. Available packages may include editable PSD or CDR files and preview images. Read the included instructions before editing so the correct software, fonts, dimensions and safe area are used.

Processing depends on the selected service or tool. Some tools work in the browser, while a server-based generator may temporarily process submitted data to create an output. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information, use an authorised device and download the completed result promptly. Organisations remain responsible for permission to submit employee or student data. See the Privacy Policy for more details.

No. Printing services, generators, templates and tools are provided only for legitimate and authorised work. We do not knowingly make fake or unauthorised school, company, government, police, press or access cards. The customer must have permission to use the submitted organisation name, logo, photographs and personal information.
